Colorado State University — Aggies to Rams

Colorado State University has a long history in Fort Collins, dating back to the 1850s. Studio Tectonic was asked to develop a concept that shared the story of the shift of the school from the Colorado A&M “Aggies” to the Colorado State University “Rams”, and to focus this story around the generations of Coloradans who have supported the university from that era in the 1950s to today. This large display celebrates the heritage of the school and recognizes key families who attended during these transitional years.

A large, dimensional lenticular graphic grabs passerby’s attention as it shifts from historical to contemporary images and animates the viewing experience. Internal lighting, etched glass and large graphics create a powerful, elegant statement.

Studio Tectonic provided the turn-key exhibit including design, fabrication and installation.
