Studio Tectonic was recently awarded the re-envisioning of Colorado State University’s Ammons Hall Welcome Center.

The 100-year-old historic building, Ammons Hall, serves as CSU’s official welcome center for 30,000 annual visitors and prospective students and offers general information about the campus, student experience, and the greater Fort Collins area. It is the launching point for daily information sessions and campus tours, and more often than not, one’s first and most important experience with Colorado State University.
Studio Tectonic is developing a master plan to transform the visual and experiential messaging for the building’s 7,000 square feet of public space. This effort is the university’s first effort to provide a complete design approach to the Admissions experience.
The Studio has provided numerous past design efforts at CSU, including the design of the Biology Department interior, and numerous smaller environmental/interpretive displays in the Lory Student Center.
